It's copper/nickel so it has to be between 1859-1864

I zoomed in and applied a few skins overtop & do see the last # as a "2", so if it can only be between 1859-1864, I would say it's 1862 imo...

For a coin in that condition, why not just use a felt tip marker and add your own date.

Well worth doing, if we are able to arrive at a consensus of opinion!

Well if it is 1859-64 copper nickel, the coin should be thicker. 1859 can be ruled out because reverse is distinct. We need to see the reverse. The last feather tells me it is 1859-1886 range because the feather was repositioned in 1886 (thus 1886 has Type 1 and type 2 coins).

The washed out color is often seen on the 1859-64 copper nickel cents, but this one looks like it had harsh acid treatment, which also can give this washed out color.

If no pic of reverse at least tell us if reverse has a shield or not.

It is thicker like a copper nickel. Funny I popped out my 1864 copper nickel that people said it was this because of the color but it was thinner than other copper nickels I had in front of me so obviously not copper nickel.
