Hello Everyone...
Just got FE ~ small letters... he's not quite as sharp as the other 2 I have but I was intrigued by the rev... he also appears to have a line through his body under the wing to the leg... it does not seem to be a scratch
Let me know what you think!

Hi Sheepy,

I don't know what to make of the line under the wing. It starts out thick at the eagle's neck and gets narrower towards the leg. Seems like a very unusual scratch, if it is a scratch. Maybe it's a "struck through" kind of mint error. Whatever it is, it has the same color as the rest of the coin so it certainly isn't recent.

The obverse rim mark at 10:00 looks like a minor rim ding (damage), but I think the other rim marks are small Cuds resulting from deteriorating dies. These are as-struck and are pretty cool.

I'd grade this one as choice VF, almost XF. It has a very nice look overall.

I'd grade this one VF-25.

Lots of cool Cud.

Very nice Cud.

VF35 to XF40, notice the wear on the right wing and at the legs' feathers. Without those wear, it' would definitely XF40-XF45. "ONE CENT" is very bold, that's good.
