Anything 1967 and older is silver (except pennies and nickels).
For dollar coins: anything from 1935 to 1967 is 80% silver. 1968 onwards is 100% nickel.
For Half dollars, quarters, and dimes: 1919 and older is 92.5% silver. from 1920-1967 is 80% silver. 1968 onwards is 100% nickel.
Note for QUARTERS and DIMES: in 1967, some were made of 50% silver and others 80%. Nonetheless, it's still silver. Also, for 1968, some were nickel, others 50% silver. You could do the magnet test (magnetic = nickel).
This only applies to quarters and dimes
Hope this helps!
