Possible Delamination Error. Help Please.

Metzger22 Valued Member United States 127 Posts	Posted 03/28/2015 10:26 am This 2005 Jefferson nickel has what looks to me like possible lamination error. I hope the pictures show what I'm seeing. It is evident on a large portion of the obverse. In the pictures it's visible on Jefferson's jaw line, around "In God" and just above the date. I'm a little unsure because with the naked eye I don't see any peeling and if it is delamination then the layer is extremely thin. Any help or clarification would be appreciated! SsuperDdave Moderator United States 23522 Posts	Posted 03/28/2015 1:53 pm Drag a toothpick across boundaries like that. Even if it hasn't delaminated yet you should feel a slight displacement as the toothpick passes over the edge. Report this Post to the Staff
