Got my 2015 clad proof set today.
Just sorta appeared in my mailbox...
Strange how 30 bux just disappeared from my bank account too... ;)

It's a gorgeous set. Better looking than I am used to seeing.
Does anyone else see the same thing? It's like there is more
cameo.

Anyway, the "new" mid-relief JFK kinda looks out of place among the flat coins.

The JFK golden dollar is hideous! He is looking down and to the side!

For a clad set, this is a nice one. Hope yours are too!

I used to love subscriptions for exactly the reasons above - stuff showed up and I didn't have to worry about it.

Just remember that every one you sign up for costs $5. Every year.

How hard is it to put a reminder in your calendar and bunch up a few purchases?

I wonder how long before they decide to make all proofs higher relief.

I'm going to assume (as I haven't read it anywhere) that the idea is to connote sadness at his assassination. That was my immediate takeaway the first time I saw the design. If so, it may have been nice to do so throughout the series for all the portraits of assassinated presidents or all those who dies in office to properly solemnize their memorial on the coin.

All that being said, this particular likeness of JFK doesn't seem quite right artistically. I don't the think the artist captured his essence on this one.
