A bit of good news finally! I found, bought, and finally received some more Marshall Islands coins that are very difficult to find. It's the 50$ WWII planes collection! My Marshall Islands coins weren't stolen thankfully. I already had a good majority of the $50 silver ones. And as always...I collect WWII Commemorative coins from all over the world. Lemme know what ya got and whats out there!

That's a great set! I've actually thought about collecting aircraft related coins myself, but my fish themed collection keeps me busy enough. Here's what I know about WW II coins:
1) Gibraltar did a WW II series around '94 I think
2) Isle of Man did a WW II aircraft series in '95
3) Several other countries like Russia and Great Britain (and some others I can't remember) also minted coins in '95 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of the war.

Very impressive! I really like them. I'm glad the thieves didn't make off with everything, although if they were trying to unload a set of Marshall Islands coins, it would be easy to identify them as the thieves. Now I know why I have the one coin from the Marshall Islands.

Wish I would have known that. I've had 2-3 in my possession in the past when buying bulk lots.

That would be the kinda coins I collect. Too bad those are hard to come by and normally overly priced like the Marshall Islands ones.

Nice set. Russia has definately struck a fair amount of coins related to WWII. 1965, 1975, 1985, 1995, 2005. Most of the coin infomation can be found on the Central Bank of Russia site: http://www.cbr.ru/eng/bank-notes_co...orable_coinsHere are the Soviet ones: 1965 1975 1985 etc A fair amount of the ex-Soviet block countries have also released their own WWII coins. Of course don't forget Australia too 1995 2005 I'm sure there are plenty more but that's the ones that I can remember at the moment.
