So I know I have my running thread going on my Buffalo nickel project, but this find was so exciting it deserves a thread of its own! I recently bought a roll of 40 dateless buffs, all with mintmarks, for 30 bucks on ebay. This was the FIRST coin I pulled out of the acid. This one alone now pays for the whole roll! Here are some pics of the coin:

Days like this make all the frustration of looking for the right coin and not finding it worthwhile!

Yet in that condition and acid dipped, it may well be difficult to find a buyer. Try and let us know how much it goes for.

I'm having a difficult time seeing the date from the photo.
However, congrats on filling a tough hole!

Yeah, I'm not selling it. Need it for my set. But it would absolutely sell on ebay. Even the crappiest condition acid dated ones go from around 20-30 bucks.

Ok guys, I need some help on this one. I am certain it's a D type 2, and I THINK it's 1913, but I would like some other eyes on it. Just not quite positive enough to stick it in the folder. These were the best pictures I could get.
