Good evening Irene/Susan,
the first picture shows a 10 Mark, germany, state of Baden, Krause nr. 260,1873G, as the pic shows, a fine/verry fine, so abouth 100 euro.
The second picture is also a 10 Mark, this time from Preussen (Prussia), Krause 502.3, 1872C, like the picture looks I would say also bethween fine and verry fine, abouth 80 euro.
Greetings, Carl

AUWCH!! That Hurts!!
The first shows a 1 or 2 Frederick D'Or, this is what you call a difficult one!!
By the weight you can find out what it is, but latest reports are for a fine verry fine specimen there is been payd abouth 1000 euro's!!!
You can find it in the Krause world catalog under number 371.1 or 381, just which type you really got, better check it, or better, bring it to a specialist, this one needs papers with it!!
The second coin is a 10 Mark piece from Preussen (Prussia), KM 520, 1898, this one does in fine to verry fine abouth 70 euro.
The last coin shown is from Austria, KM 2267, a Trade Ducat, but.... this is the 1915, more restrike then real, so I would say abouth 30 to 40 euro, a nice one to have, but common to get, you find them here often in jewelery, becouse of the low/goldprice valeu for them.

Thank you for the information, the restrike Ducat, I have 11 of them but one is scratched. You say the 1801 coin would need papers, what papers are these?

Irene, with papers I mean a certificate of origin, in your place I would contact The Royal Mint site in the UK, there you proparbly can find some links where they have taxation days, otherwise, there will be someone who knows where you have to go for, we have it here (Holland) as well, if you have a certificate that shows that the coin is real and not a face or a restrike, and the grading of the coin, you have a better thing to hold on when you would like to sell it, as well as for insurance of your collection. if you would like to sell a few from the restrike's, I might be interrested Irene, the rest goes far over my poor factory workers wallet ;-) Greetings, Carl

I will look into getting 'papers'. I have had a look at the packaging this coin was in, the following information is included - 2 Fredrick D'pr cat.1200.00 I will think about selling coins at a later date.

Keep us posted what the results are Irene, those D'or's do it verry good on (international) auctions, and a 2 D'or.... WHOW!!
The 10 mark pieces best sell in germany, of cource, there are more collectors who want those, the austrians..... well, my offer you have ;-)
Take your time to get it all well prepared, and be shure you get a second opinion on the grading of all coins Irene!!
Greetings, Carl
