Well Bryan, Thanks for the perspective and insight ! And "PLEASE" if you get a "feeling" about a particular coin or set from the U.S. Mint..... TELL ME !! Because I would love to buy something that would double in value quickly, let alone long term.
I won't git rid of the Presidential dollars at this point in time then. It sucks that the "P" mint rolls I had to buy from the Mint at what $37.95 per roll versus even money for "D" mint at my bank though!! That makes my unfortunate "cost" even higher yet ! That means 16 rolls at $13.00 extra cost ! YIKES ! And I bought some of those Presidential dollar boxes too to put them in !
Well, at least I'm done with that madness then ! I'll stop digging a hole with all of that !
Silver, gold, and "old stuff" is what I'll collect mostly now for sure. I'll still get some new Mint things I'm sure, but the Pres. Dollars will be minimal and just for my 2 books now. No more 8 rolls per President !! I appreciate being pointed in the right direction or at least "re-directed" from going into a 16 year program with unrealistic expectations ! This forum will "save" me money I see......very clearly ! Thanks
