I'm a Utahn born and raised. I like the coin too. I'm really glad we didn't end up with the winter sports design.

Nice design, too bad they're still not available. Bank told me to check back next week. Well pretty soon it will be 2008 and the 2007 are not even here yet. Why does it take banks so long to get the quarters? Well at least my banks do. Anyone else having trouble getting Utah?

We live 50 miles from Utah.

Have seen very few of their quarters to date.

Basically a nice design.

I do like things being in proportion however, and that spike is mighty big!

Leann,

My bank I buy from just got an 500 dollar fedbox of those 50 state utah quarters. They already opened them and was selling rolls and coins. I bought one quarter for my book and one roll of madison dollars.

I talked with head bank teller about buying the intire box of the utah quarters. She did not want to sell the intire box since she cant reordor them since they put an limit on how many she can buy from goverment. She had an limit on how many rolls the peaple could buy since she cant reordor them. I wanted to buy intire box thats 500 face from her and list it on ebay as factory sealed box utah quarters. I could onley buy 5 rolls or wait intill monday to see how many are sold out the box before I could buy the intire remains from her. I wanted them for resale on ebay.

They were all denver utah and not philly coins. In texas they onley ship brand new coins from denver mint. For me to get philly coins I need to buy from coin dealers or trade denver coins with guys on east side of the usa.
