As in, keep it instead of throwing it back, in a 2x2 flip. It's a pretty spectacular lamination, and regardless of any advice on value we might render this one would definitely attract attention if liquidated.

This is from my deceased Dad's collection. I want to buy this from my Mother. What should I pay her for this? I am keeping some of his collection for myself and am trying to figure by each coin what I owe her.

It's on rather common date in a decent grade with a very nice lamination. I think I'd pay $10 maybe $15 depending on color and other attributes, without blinking an eye but others may pay more.

It's a lamination crack. Such planchet errors have negligible value.
Error coin writer and researcher.
