It almost looks stamped in the metal, so I'm guessing it's one of those mass-produced novelty coins.

Regarding value, it's numismatic value is $0.01; it's novelty value is probably just a bit higher.

It's an etched penny. I bought a few a while back for .25 each. I'll see if I can't scan some pictures.

Went thru 20 more rolls.Nothing but copper. A couple of 50's wheatys. and some Canadians. Found something else....Cent is totally shot, crusty and black. All I see is the remains of a date. 190? So I try and clean it up and for the first time It got worse. I won't upset anyone with details, but The coin was like a -60 state, to begin with.
