I'm sure it looks horrid in hand, but I'm loving the rainbow on the reverse.

For what the coins is worth, I would leave it alone. 1st, I think it looks neat. 2nd, polish it up and it is one more 64 Half worth $5. As it is, no one else has one like it. The rainbow toning might just continue and would be great.

To the best of my understanding, there is a 3% chance that a dip will "help," and a 97% chance a dip will "make it shiny."

50cents, I believe you're joshing us!

This is a cool coin with unique (and I presume original) toning. I can't appraise the luster from your photos but it appears to be in high mint state. I'd sooner send it to PCGS or NGC for a grade than try to shine it up!

There are a couple marks in front of the chin, couple on the cheek and one in the ear. Thin light scratch from eye to the ear. Couple marks at the base of the neck. There is a couple of tiny marks on the shield and tail feathers. Very nice looking coin with special toning. Nice strike. I would treasure it. MS-64.

The JFK is raw, I would grade it 63 and I was joking about the dipping
