4 boxes of halves today. Some NIFC, 2 large pennies, some other foreign job, 6 40%ers, a 1982 no FG (the real one with the polished off seriff), and a stickered coin (haven't found a sticker in a while)

@Chuckster What little gremlins do you pay off to have them roll up all those 72 DDOs you find? Congrats again! It would be interesting to find out how these pieces can show up more in one area than in another. I understand CA people likely would not get as many Philly pieces, but I think you and I are relatively close in locale. I also realized today that when I started roll searching, I found three 73 DDOs within a short space of time, but I have not seen another for a loooong time now.

*Not Gremlins, Leprechauns!( I've been known to have a bowl of "LUCKY CHARMS CEREAL" prior to my half dollar escapades! (LOL!)

Hey everyone I am new to halves.... I am doing 8 boxes of nickels Every single day and 2 boxes of halves 5 times a week.... Talk about addicted lol, anyways I have a few questions about the halves before I get too far in so I don't miss anything. 1st What should I be keeping?(besides the obvious silver and I know about the NIFC's too)Like what years should I set aside to check for what kind of DD? 2nd Why do you guys keep holed painted destroyed etc? 3rd Is there anybody on here who would buy the NIFC's or trade for silvers etc or should I just sell them on ebay? Sorry for the noob questions I just don't want to pass any coins that may be worth keeping to sell or collect etc. Today and yesterdays 5 boxes yielded(I start doing 2 boxes a day mon-fri next week) 3 @ 40%(1 yesterday 2 today)2 1968d, 1 1969d 1 @ 90%(yesterday)1964d 14 NIFC(8 yesterday 6 today)(this does not include the 5 I threw back due to PMD) 4 proofs today 1986s,1990s,1991s,1994s 1 double side coin today(tails) Note I found the 2 40% 3 NIFC all 4 proofs and the double sided coin in the same box today(not too bad for my first 5 boxes) Thanks for any help with the questions everyone and Good luck to everyone :)

I'm the one to talk to about NIFC. once you get a small flat rate box worth (probably almost 20 rolls) let me know, I trade for 90% halves or whatever I can find.

@bishftl
Do you want me to pull all the ones I find or just the ones that look good?

i need nice shiny edged uncirculated coins. no bag marks. they go into whitman books for collectors.
i usually just have members send me what they got and I take what I can use. I always pay for your shipping cost with extra silver as well. jack_jeckel has sent me 2 batches, about $800 face in the last couple months, he can vouch for me.

not absolutely perfect but you don't want any distracting marks from an arms lenght.

ok cool cause I was going to say all the ones I keep are definitely looking really good just not ms70....
Anyone to look for trading or selling the proofs to?
I am mostly interested in adding to my silver pile more than the collector pieces but I know that there is more than just silver value in boxes so I may as well burn the candle at every end I can
