Colles,
I know some others have been getting entire boxes of 2001 halves. If you have an endless back roll, keep them. But I would probably let them go.

Went to 6 banks this week -- no halves. At the 7th I got 14 rolls. 1 68D. 2 halves with filled in D mintmarks I will post on the modern errors.

Sold 266 clad proofs found roll hunting at a show today. Got .70 each for them.
Some of those 266 coins were au/bu coins found in rolls but most were proofs.
It was actually a trade, and I got 16 barber halfs with my trade credit. The math is a little over 50$ "profit". Not to bad. I cherry picked a complete extra set just to have 1971-2011, and these were the extras.

I got bombed by the new 1995's earlier this year for 2-3 weeks. It ended being you wanted to see the shiney new coins when you cracked a box, there was a bunch of silver mixed in with them also. Closest I had to a solid box was probably 800 out of 1000 coins were brand new.

Still out of a job and unable to really search halves at this point. I am glad to see some decent finds here including that monster box FTB found.

Continued luck to everyone.

2 boxes left from Friday.

2 1964's 2 40%ers, some NIFC, a holed, and an unknown foreign.

I can make out "Napoleon III Emperor" on the obverse and "ntimes" on the reverse. I would guess it is French.

Jack Jeckel,

I believe that foreign coin is an old Canadian 2 cent piece.

hey everyone my name is justin or "razzy" hahaha
I'm new here to this forum but not new to coin collecting :)
I'm 24 and have been collecting since I was about 10 years old
i LOVE CRH and have been doing it for about a year at the most.
I've only searched about $14,000 in full boxes, not including customer wrapped rolls or loose halves at the bank.

Here's my finding so far from boxed coins:
32 40% halves
1 90% halves
5 proofs (all clad)

Not so good of findings from reviewing some of the findings on here but I'm going to keep looking!

BEST OVERALL FINDS:
-1 FULL ROLL of 1964 or earlier quarters!
-1 FULL ROLL of 40% halves
-1 Dime roll with 44/50 Silver dimes with 2 mercs!
-30 loose silver halves (mix of 40, 90, and 90 proof, walking liberty, kennedy, and franklin) from ONE bank while on vacation in GA!

Anyone have any ideas as to how to properly dump coins?
I typically throw all in a bucket and just go to peoples bank and throw them in the free coin counter.

Jack Jeckel - your foreign coin is a bronze French 10 centimes with the portrait of Emperor Napoleon III. The date should be below the portrait, but is worn off on this specimen. This is a bare-headed bust which dates it to between 1852 and 1857. The mintmark is MA for Marseilles (under the eagle).

Razzy!

Glad to have you here. I have only been roll searching for a little over a year and have not gotten that much silver yet!

But its OK, I like searching for errors anyway.

Cannot help you on dumping, I have a GREAT bank that orders boxes for me and then lets me just bring them back (bagged - they don't even want me to roll them!) and exchange them for the other boxes.
