Went through 6 boxes of halves yesterday.

Total skunk. No silver, 4 NIFC, and a beat to crap 1974DDO.

I was dumping at a different bank tonight and while waiting a guy went up tot the teller and asked her for "funny money". "Susan B's, halves, star notes, red or blues (I assume seals)"

so I found out that pretty much everyone at TD bank thinks they can order halves but I got a call from the lady at the bank and she told me she looked into it a step further and that ordering halves is just not possible. oh well I guess i'll stick to ordering from BOA and peoples. anyone else have any other banks who source from a different place than BOA and peoples (CT only)

Got shorted $21 dumping $700 in halves yesterday (to go with the $100 shorted from 2 jammed counters last week). I had been to that bank 2 weeks ago knowing how much I was dumping and it cam back straight up correct. I told the teller and she said they would balance it tomorrow. She called this morning and said the machine was right. I dumped the rest today while picking up and came up with the $300 I should have so they shorted me yesterday.

And to get me more riled up about that bank is it was from the door to door salesman banker who came into work and was trying to recruit new accounts with a $150 sign up bonus and I still haven't gotten my $150 and it's been 6 months and he no longer works at that branch. I do get 2 boxes a week from the branch by work so I am not going to tell them to get bent and close my account but the dump bank is right on my way home.

6 boxes of halves today.

Same old junk. No silver, a few NIFC, a holed, and a 1982 no FG no seriff but PMD'd.

Suggestions for liquidating 400 40% Kennedy halves? eBay/Paypal takes such a huge bite, that I'm trying to avoid that. I've gotten a price from JM Bullion, which is below melt (as one would expect).

Craigslist for sure, meet in public, put your phone number up and say text only.
Sold $500 face value 40% on craigslist in April, sold in less then 12 hours for above melt.

craigslist is the way to go. sell silver whenever I want on there. to reduce the number of ridiculously low offers, be sure to mention that you won't even bother entertaining offers below melt. tons of people will hit you up and lowball the daylights out of you.

He has enough posts to sell, you have enough posts to buy. Just make sure to do the transaction over here and not in this thread.
