QUESTION: How do all of you guys dump your coins? do you re-roll each roll or do you dump at a coin counting machine? if you use a machine, where do you go? do you advise against dumping at the same bank? (I'm not talking about same branch)
i buy from BOA and peoples and I always end up dumping at peoples b/c they have the coin counting machines - idk if that's a bad strategy. I think re-rolling the coins takes a lot longer but then again waiting for the coins to process through the machine takes a while too... thoughts?
...went through 2.5 boxes so far and am doing very well IMO...will post pics as soon as I'm done :)

@trapper I was on a roll for a while of 1 holed per 4 boxes after 2 years of not a single holed. I even found 5 plugged holed clad Kennedy's. I think they plugged Seated coins to avoid getting their hands chopped of for stealing silver but I see no reason to plug a clad coin unless it is welding class at community college in WY and it is a skills test. @razzy It doesn't matter what bank brand you dump at, which branch you dump at, what carrier they use, as each local region all gets their coins from the same central distributor and all of the coins come back to the same distributor whether it be Loomis, Brinks, or whoever. The only way not to get your dumps back is to determine the mile radius be it 50 or 100 miles from where you are and dump all of your coins there and hope someone from the next zone is doing the same thing which is why marking coins doesn't work. The other two boxes had 1 Franklin, 2 walkers, 1 1964 and 6 40%.

3 boxes today. 1 box had 4 1964's and 6 40%ers, one of them counterstamped with the number 2 on Kennedy's head. Another box had 1 40%er and a 1957 Spanish something which appears to be nickel and not silver.   |

More than likely, the Spanish coin is not from 1957. The date of mintage is actually found in the two digit number inside the star on the reverse. you are correct in your assumption about its composition though; it is not silver.

That would be a Spanish 50 pesetas - the last two digits of the date are incuse in the six-pointed star on the reverse. If it's 58, 59 or 60, the coin is common - if it's 67 or 71 it's a bit scarcer. Anything else would be interesting!

Though about broke, I am planning on ordering two boxes this week. I will need to do one, dump them, and then go back for the second box.
Maybe I will be back into some producers. The last 10 or so boxes, over multiple weeks, produced just about nadda. I would like to find a decent box.
I did go through about $200 of CR dimes and found a single 1964. The average tends to be one silver dime per every $250. I have had better averages and I have had worse average.

I came across 6 rolls of us mint NIFC. @bishftl do you want them they are 2009P 2010D (2)2011P 2011D and 2013P

Hi Jack - it's a 71. Franco died in 1975 and that was the last issue, but 72 to 75 were all NIFC, so this was the last Franco 50ptas struck for circulation. Not rare but not that common either - when I lived in Spain for a year in 1982 I only remember getting 2 or 3 '1957(*71)' 50ptas coins whereas the 58, 59 and 60 were frequently found.
