Yeehaw! I finally found out what a 1971-D RPM looks like b/c there is no doubt about the one I found - a nice, doubled D. Also got a killer 83 Clash where JFK had 3 Rhino horns easily visible. What else? Man this was a good week... 1973 DDO1984 D RPM (2 of these) OK - no biggie here...Two Obama 2008 gold plated halves where someone had already removed the effigy that should never have been put there (acetone took care of the rest) and... drum roll... The best 40% lot I have gotten so far. Pics later - I posted this to make sure I HAD to take the time to take post pics when I get the chance

OK pics... here is the 40% form this week Here is a 1988 that I believe is a clipped planchet - thought would like an experts opinion - I think it shows the Blakesley effect opposite the clip: I am a novice on RPMs - and I have been looking hard to find a pic of a 1971-D JFK RPM for awhile now. I cannot find one on the web or by asking people who have different Kennedy reference books. This one does not fit the description in the " Kennedy half dollar Book" - but I do believe this is definitely an RPM on a 1971-D half. The 1983 Clash I got is identical to one I got a few weeks ago - they could be twins as far as how hard the clash is. They both are easy to see without magnification - so here is the pic of the last one: edited to add clash pic
