The boxes that I had hoped to get last week never came to be. I managed to scrounge up about $2000 in loose, CWR, and BWR to go through, although all of the CWR looked to be someone's dump. All told I managed to find 4 x 40%, 2 x 1974-D DDO, a 1994-S Proof, and plenty of NIFC. I also managed to find a total of 47 Ikes from two different banks.

I should have at least 2 boxes this week, I just hope I still have some cash left by the time they come in.

4 boxes nothing again like chuck I'm stopping till next month as well - going to just concentrate on dimes and sometimes throw in a quarter box or 2, plus its getting difficult for me to keep dumping the halves

6 boxes yesterday.

All 6 boxes had at least 1 silver.

3 boxes had enders.

1 Franklin, 2 1964, 9 40%ers, 2 holed, 4 proofs, a counter stamped, 1 bubbled up core from a fire, a beat up 1974D DDO, and some NIFC.

is there a reason to keep coins that are holed other than the fact that they're rare and interesting? assuming theres no value to them at all right?

The only reason to keep them is if you enjoy them. There is no added value unless you find someone who enjoys them or uses them for jewelry.

How many DDO and DDR are people finding per box?

I'm guessing I would average 2 or 4 if I looked at every 71d, 72, 73d, 74d, and 77d. However, I typically only look at the coins that are AU or better. I probably average 1 or 2 with the 74d DDO representing a large majority. I know this may be surprising to some people but there are tons of the 74d DDO's and more of the others than I could have ever expected. I don't find many of the 72 DDO's but I'm guessing that's because the majority of my coins are Denver mint.

2 boxes tonight.

3 40%ers, 3 perfect scratch free proofs, and a couple of NIFCs.

Out of approximately 2250 boxes I have found 44 1974D DDO.

I don't bother looking for the other dates as they are impossible to see unless the coins are uncirculated.

Holed coins (virtually any PMD actually) will still have the silver value if it's silver.
