Box #6 (flat/yellow stripes):

no silver.
2003 D
2005 P

have no more eyes for checking the rest to make sure I didn't miss anything. guess I just wont ever find silver, it seems my area must be mined out.

Now since they got an exta box for me at the bank, if I don't get it, it will be a box like arby keeps pulling, so I got to figure out how to spend a box quickly on thigns I need and can afford so I can go get that other box and maybe get my first foreign or silver half from a box.

I finally was able to talk someone at my bank to order me a box of halves! Is it bad etiquette to return them to the same bank after I go through them? Also, should I have them order a second box when I pick up my first so I can always have a box or is that asking for too much? I don't want to frustrate them now that they are helping me.

On my last trip to the bank picking up some rolls, my teller said, "oh you're nice compared to the other people who do this." She said other collectors are grouchy and demanding.....yikes! I don't want to wear out my welcome, but need to feed my new coin interest! How much is too much?

2 boxes.

Nothing.

Went to the bank in the grocery store and got $11 in halves and 22 dollar coins.

Got a 40%er.

Colles, I dump at the bank I purchase from all the time. Its the bank I am a customer at and they have all my accounts. They are very helpful and accommodating. We have two branches here in town so I split the dump between them. Friday I purchased pizza for both branches. I called Pizza Hut and they delivered them for me with a thank you note. Those bags of half dollars get heavy and most of the time there are young ladies doing the heavy lifting. At the end of last year I purchased gift cards for coffees. The tellers are amazed when I show them the pictures of the silver I have taken, they are very surprised when I show them the proof and magician coins. "LOVE THE HUNT"!

I dumped my most recent 4 boxes today at the credit union. The teller gave me a big stack of CoinSafe bags. She said it would probably be easier on me and easier on her if I just brought my stuff in already bagged up. This will speed things up. I was grateful. When I got my $2K, one of the $100 was a 2003 Star Note. I don't really know much about the star notes yet, but I looked it up and it has a print run of 640K. I'm not sure how that translates in value.
