I guess everyone's situation is different...

For me, all the branches that order for me strongly, and I mean STRONGLY, recommend me to take my dumps somewhere else. I do it cause there are like 15 banks in a 10 mile radius of me.

I only had one branch let me order and dump. That lasted about 8 weeks until the head teller came back from maternity leave and now she won't even let me order anymore! Like I said, don't bite the hand that feeds...

Dumping at a different branch/bank also ensures you do not get your rejects back in the next withdrawal.

Thankfully no place I have spent halves at use the banks I get coins from. Since the rule of thumb is to "take them all!" I haven't seen anything a second time yet when I get less than a whole box worth.

That may all change since I am now spending bicentennials. But I am keeping the D's so I still have a marker to tell me if I have seen all the coins before or not.

I would love to find a place around me that has one of those machines to just buy the coins from even if it was the same coins I had seen before because I could do more cents that way and not lose money to Coinstar fees or have to roll all of them to use them.

Has anyone spent halves before and ended up getting the same ones back from the teller trays from their pick-up bank?

Popped open 4 boxes today and they yielded me 1-90%er and 21-40%ers, 5-proof coins and 3-holded. I found a really beat up 74D DDO but I threw it back in the drop bag. Here are the numbers,

Kennedys
1-64
4-65
1-66
5-67
6-68
5-69
1-74S
2-83S
1-98S
1-07S

One of my banks forgot to order for me and they ordered today and said they would be in Thursday. Hoping to get another 4 boxes this afternoon from my Credit Union. Happy Hunting everyone.

Colles, selling 40%ers on ebay will typically get you 5-10% over silver spot price BEFORE ebay fees.

I do not know if there is a fee for selling via ccf.

Depending on how many you have I may be interested.

I picked up the other 4 boxes and popped open 2 of them. It yielded me 1 40%er a 66. Hope that doesn't keep up. lol I wonder if I have mined out my small town. I should have never marked the coins. I am seeing more and more of them. One is better than none. Will finish up the other two boxes tomorrow. "LOVE THE HUNT"!
