Welcome pamelajoe wish you tons of luck on your search for silver. How long have you been searching? Thirteen pieces of silver in one box is nice. I would take that any day.

HI ARBY 96, I started on 6/1/14. So I am new at this.
I have done pennies and nickels for 5 years or so.
Retired 3 years ago from plumbing, and retired from ARMY after 20 years in 1992.
I go to " (124) Not Allowed - Auto-Removed .COM" to check melt value on all coins.
I belong to a coin club and I sometime will trade 1 90% for 2 quarters or 5 dimes.. it is the same silver content.
So when our dollar is no good, I will have some SMALL metal to buy bread or beer!!

Joe, I am also retired from the military, Retired from the Air Force May 2001. I was pulling pennies for a while and learned there was still a bunch of silver in circulation, mostly in Halves and nickels. I have had good luck finding silver in halves so far. I use this site for melt value, http://coinapps.com/silver/coin/calculator/ I like it because I just put the number of coins I have and it adds it automatically, plus you can change the value and see what your future investment might be at a higher melt value. Its fun to play with. What coin club do you belong too? Is it a local one or one you use on line? I just noticed it didn't post the website you use. 4 boxes from Friday.
2 40%ers and a couple of NIFC.
$5 in silver doesn't offset the $60 plus I was shorted.

Jack, I totally feel you when your shorted. I swear that's how the companies make some of their profit. That's why I do pennies most of the time! DX
Found 2 %40 also and one really messed up 1992 proof.
Also shorted a few bucks!

finally got a couple of boxes.had to go to knoxville this week and got my bank there to order me a couple.the bank in my hometown will not order.the girl said as many as I wanted she would order. got skunked on both boxes.only keepers were a 1990 proof and 2 nifc coins.later greg

ARBY, I belong to SOUTHERN DELAWARE COIN CLUB, we are in the big time our july 12 show is in Coin World, we do meetings once a month, 4th Tuesday (yea,tonight) |

JACK, one of my banks will order for me
(for $5.00 a roll) they will also charge $5.00 if I drop off
Another bank, (my main), drop off free, but will not order
My third bank is same as second, My last is bank of America that has army retirement and ARBY can tell you, don't mess with military finance.

No way in h.e. double ll I would grin and bear it if my box was short 5 rolls. I'd go right to the head teller, and if no satisfaction there, I'd go to the branch manager. anyhoo, here's last week's *ONE* box, proving you don't need mass quantity:  |

Just finished searching 4 boxes, Box-1, yielded 1-67, Box-2, 1-53D, 1-64, 1-66, and 2-67, Box-3, 3-67 and box-4 2-67 and 1-76S Silver, its in good shape for being in circulation. I also pulled 73 gold plated, 74S Clad Proof and 5-NIFC and a nice 01D. Nice start for the week. I will be picking up 8 more boxes this week and have reached my goal of 10 pieces of silver for the week and everything else is a bonus. Glad to see others scoring on silver also. Hope everyone else has a good week. Remember "LOVE THE HUNT"!     My 3rd one since I have been searching "LOVE THE HUNT!"
