4 boxes today.

3 40%ers and a few NIFC.

Went to the grocery store bank that I only visit once every 3 or 4 weeks because it is a way off the main drag and there is never anywhere to park with the 40 handicap parking spots they got there. Anyways the chick says she had been waiting for me to come and take what she had because she had been sitting on it for a while and got tired of counting it every night. She had $12.50 in halves: $11.50 of that was 2014's

My box tonight had
1 1987
4 40%
and a 1994 half that sounds hollow it weighs 10.7 grams while a normal half weighs 11.3 grams I am assuming it is a magician coin but I do not know any suggestions? If it is a magician coin how do you open it? thanks

Magician's coin. Put in zip lock freezer bag for a few minutes. Take out of bag and put it in a large plastic cup. Swirl it around, side to side and it will pop apart. Just got one from my credit union last week. Worked for me. Mine had a Mexican peso on the reverse.

If the reverse is rotated from the obverse it is a Magicians coin as the last time it was put back together the person didn't bother to align them.

magicians have a special ring that it fits into, then slap it down on the counter or table and it opens...I have a ring for that but don't know were it is, if I can find it I might make some for members to use, otherwise drop it edgewise on a hard surface such as cement or wood floor.

Nice pick on the 2014s. I think I have a few put back with some other NIFCs.

BTW, glad to be back.
