Mycrob, I am hoarding all the silver for now, this is a long term retirement plan for me. I just upgraded to a larger safety deposit box and I am hoping silver hits new level highs in the next ten to fifteen years. Its bit of a risk but if silver gets to $30 to $50 dollars an ounce that $1000 turns into $12,000 to $21,000. I can not make anything near that by putting that $1000 in a saving account. I just finished up another 4 boxes today and only pulled 1-67 so this year has started very slow. I am not too discouraged because I am seeing my fellow CCFer still finding silver. This is a numbers game and I truly believe I will be pulling silver once again. It takes me approximately an hour to an hour and a half to search 4 boxes, but I check for more than just silver, if I am just looking for silver I can check a box in about fifteen minutes and faster. JDK350 I would take 6 pieces a box any day. good finds. "LOVE THE HUNT!"

Went to a coin machine bank of mine to cash in halves. Asked if any teller halves. "No, sorry. Here's some large dollars though. You wanna see em?" "Ok." Nothing good there. "Thanks alot bank people, have a nice day." Walking to my car, my teller comes out the side door and says, "Wait, I have $17 in halves and small dollars! you want em?" "Yes" says I. Glad I did! '51 Bennie, 2 '64's, 3 40's. Haven't looked at the rest yet.

With the IKE in front, Hope I am not out of the spirit of the thread. In my first attempt at finding Half dollars, I found some NIFC coins. Then added to that some nicer older coins with great REEDs. Thought it might may a pretty foto. Then I added one IKE, then one arrowhead.

I'll post pics later, but I had one lucky day. I searched my first box of halves in at least two years and apparently good things come to those who wait.
I found six 1964 Kennedys (5x 1964, 1x 1964-D)
A whopping 57 40% Kennedys! (2x 1966, 24x 1967, 17x 1968-D, 14x 1969-D)
4 NIFC's (2004-P, 2007-P, 2010-P, 2014-D regular strike)
I also found a Bermudan 50¢ and a St. Michaels prayer token.
I need to search more often! I'll post pics of the results later today.

Wow SilverRoosevelt, nice score. You better get back to the bank and pick up some more if you can!
I'm hoping my bank remembered to order my boxes, I'll find out this afternoon or tomorrow morning.

Wow SilverRoosevelt! Huge score from just one box! My totals from my 4 boxes on Tuesday: Zero
Pick up 4 more next week, hope they are a little better. Feel like I'm searching someone else's dumps.

Enjoy the pics. I didn't break 10 for the week but I am happy with something. "LOVE THE HUNT!"
