I took a chance at my first box ever. Filled a ton of holes but nothing special. No silver and only one from 2002. Still a good time though and I'll definitely try it again.

@coinsrus1000

That one looks way way way over polished.

I'm not sure about what causes the "double rim" or rm lip but as stated previously the surfaces of that one look suspicious.

The WWII is one of the 7 or so different commems I have found in a roll (Washington, Olympic Gymnastics, Korea, WWII, Olympic Basketball, Columbus, and more than a few Ellis Island)

My bank didn't even get the Brinks truck to stop by last week so I'm out of luck still.

I'm new to the forum and just started half dollar roll searching a few months ago (probably around Nov. 2014). When I started I only got 1 box per week for the first few weeks then went to 2 boxes per week. Last week the teller over ordered and ordered 6 boxes, so I've been through 6 boxes in the past week. Most only yielded 1-4 40% but I did find 2 90% in those 6 boxes a '64 Kennedy and a '41 Walking Liberty. I just finished a good box. It wasn't great on silver, but it is the one I found the 90% Walking Liberty in, also found 3 40%, 2 proofs, and 32 NIFC. My best silver hit so far has been 14 40% out of the two boxes I searched week before last. Thus far I've found 35 40%, 3 90%, 8 proofs, 2 gold plated and 2009 NIFC with Kennedy portrait painted. Bad thing is the teller didn't order anything this week, so I'll be going through withdrawals until next Wednesday. Finding the Walking Liberty has got my juices flowing and now I have to wait a week for more!! May have to hit a few other banks in town to see if they have anything on hand.

Just finished another 4 boxes this morning and skunked once more on all 4. I did pull 2-74D DDO and I etched coin, its nicely done, the etching is painted with what looks like a red nail polish. RCook, Welcome to CCF and congrats on your finds just wait until you pull your first Barber that will get you excited. Should be picking up 4 more boxes today. I know its a matter of time before I hit silver, There is much more silver in circulation than 74D DDO, That is what I believe and have experienced. "LOVE THE HUNT!: its the thrill of what you might find..
