My second box from last week was a skunk continuation. Scored 5 2002-2014 NIFC's though.
Picking up 2 boxes tomorrow, hoping for some of the shiny!
Nice haul of proofs Jack, that is pretty unusual!

Went to a bank today that I opened an account with a few months ago to cash in some halves and they wouldn't take them. When I opened the account I informed them that I'd be bringing in lots of coin and they said there wouldn't be a problem. Today I closed the account. This was also the bank that recently gave out coins with my information on it, name and phone number. After closing the account I let them know that I didn't appreciate them giving my information and people calling me inquiring about what was/wasn't in the rolls and wanting to know whether I had more halves I wanted to get rid of or not.

I did not think banks accepted rolled coin with any writing on the wrappers anymore. The banks here want them writing free.
I go to several banks in my area to deposit coins. I never deposit them at the banks where I get boxes of coins. Hope you can find another way to distribute your coins.

Quote: gave out coins with my information on it, name and phone number. What? That represents a blatant disregard for your privacy. What was their justification? What reason at all did they have?

Box numero nueve (happy cinco de mayo all) yielded 4 NIFC but I believe #4 skunk streak for silver. Will continue the hunt!

Most banks in this area don't ask for information on rolled coins, but this one did. None of the coins came from this particular bank or any other of their branches. I think I'll be alright with getting rid of the coins at a couple branches of another bank. Even without an account with them I've used them off and on for the last 5+ months, but since this banking company had been ordering at one branch and taking them back at a few other branches no questions asked, I opened an account with direct deposit with them earlier this week. If things change I don't have any problem closing the account and going to another banking company. A bank I've been doing business with for 30+ years won't order halves for me claiming it costs them too much money. When some of the CD's and IRA's I have on deposit with them mature they're going to find out doing business with them is costing me too much!! The direct deposit that the new bank got used to go to the one that I'd been doing business with for 30 years.

What was their justification? What reason at all did they have? The lady that was responsible said she failed to mark out the information. Under the circumstances, I may contact the state Attorney Generals Office and see what they have to say about this. I began using their coin counting machine at their main branch, but 2 of 3 times I used it it's numbers didn't coincide with mine, that's when I started re rolling them and taking them to other branches. I may also see if I can get an investigation started on their coin counter.

Carloscoria, that 40% looks like Machine Doubling, fairly common and no added value. The other one, if it's raised, is known as a Cud, but not sure if it's raised or a stain from your picture

Got my second proof in two months time - a 96S. Not bad for someone who only does one roll a week!
