My 4 boxes came in today. I picked them up at -5F 15 minutes before my bank closed. The teller told me someone else had come into the bank this afternoon and taken all their loose halves. Despite this, I'm encouraged they're loomis boxes instead of the other local carrier. I've never found any silver in the 60+ boxes from the local carrier I've searched. It'll be a few days before I have time to look through them, but I'll report as soon as I'm done.

I have a few minutes and am opening a few rolls from box 1...no enders, and only 3 marked coins showing on the ends of the rolls, but there's pocket lint stuck to some of the rolls, which has always been a good sign for silver in the past. 2 rolls in and I've already found a '63 Franklin! Only my second Franklin from the wild. I'm already satisfied with my 4 boxes :) " target="_blank" rel="nofollow">

Berto I have noticed that about the lint also and yes it seems to be a good sign.

Box 1 of 4 is done. Many of you will laugh, but this box held the most silver coins of any of the 100 previous boxes I've searched. I found the 1 Franklin and 5, 40%ers (2-1967, 3-1969). I'm very happy even if the next 3 boxes are skunks!

I'll trade all of the lint, carpet fibers, and black rubber chunks (not sure where those come from but have found them hundreds of times) for slimey, grimey, dull, won;t slip off of each other water fountian coins. That is where the real money is at. Just like finding a circulated proof once you find one or get a box of water fountain coins you will know.

Obviously, I was excited so I made time to look through another box. Box 2 of 4 also had pocket lint, but no enders. Box 2 had 23 different CRHer marks on coins, whereas Box 1 had 13. I feel like I'm in the twilight zone. Box 2 is my new personal best with 7 silver coins, 3-64's, 2-67's, 1-68, and 1-69. Plus I found 8 clad proofs, and 1 gold-plated 1979D. To top it off I found 2-1987Ps, and my first 2015 NIFCs, a P and a D mint. I'm super satisfied! Here's a photo of the silver:

6 boxes of halves. No silver. Only found a couple of NIFC, a 1974D DDO, 2 1982 no fg, an attempted holed, a stickered, a Greaser, and a MAD.
