I Search approximately 48 boxes a month and my best month was 447 pieces of silver, That hasn't happened since. Just cracked my last 4 boxes for the week and pulled 1-62D Franklin. 3-Clad Proofs, 02S, 04S and another 05S, Missed my 10 per week goal by 2 this week. There is always next week. I did reach a this week just broke a MILLION coins searched $500,000.00 face value. That is crazy to me I never in my life thought I would ever state something like that, growing up a poor kid from the Midwest. Wishing you all the best. I have a favor, I need a bunch of Birthday wishes for next week the 23rd is my 55th and I pickup boxes on that day so would love to hit good numbers on the 23rd. Thank you all for sharing and keeping me motivated. Wishing you all the best for Christmas and my you all strike a rich silver vain.

You have my birthday wishes! Good luck with that silver. 4 dozen boxes a month is still incredible to me, I have no doubt you can break your record eventually. My dad turned 50 on the 15th.

congrats on the milestone Arby, that is no small achievement. I actually had a birthday this month too, and the batch that I got was a present indeed. Good luck on your birthday batch, and I tip my hat to your work :-)

Numisma hang in there luck will change, I know you'll score. It's harder when you only can do 1 box every 2 months but you never know what the next roll will bring. Good luck.
Arby Happy Bday wishes, I hope you hit a big streak of luck. It's funny you mention the milestone, one of my goals is to search over 1 million dollars. My family is not rich by any means, but to think that you actually can say you've had over a million dollars in your hands is amazing.
Truly inspiring.

Allfome, not there yet, I can say I have handled a Million half dollars though. It took two years and one month to get to that so it will be another two years before I can brag about handling a million dollars. That is kind of crazy when one thinks about that.

Quote: It's harder when you only can do 1 box every 2 months I'll be able to do more soon, especially once I find a good dump bank and get my driver's license.

First time roll hunting in many years. I went to my local B of A and they had one roll of halves. Found one 64 that looks a nice AU. How about that? I think I will visit them weekly for a while.

They have mintages of less than 15 million.
The average mintage of half dollars between 1971-2001 is 56 million.
I'd say that well below average mintage, wouldn't you?
