Congrats arby on hitting 3000! How long have you been searching? And how many dollars worth do you go through a week?

Quote: These 3 40's put me at 3,000 40%ers I have found since I started searching. Now that's a lot of 40%ers. It is also: 34.5 kg (total weight) 443.7 oz of silver $7720.38 melt 1,500 times more 40%ers than I've found Congratulations!

Big7mag, November will be three years searching. I search 12 boxes a week sometime 16 if I get lucky. I have one bank that keeps an extra 4 boxes just in case they forget to order and I purchase them once in while. I must say CRH has been very good to me. Wishing you all the best.

4 boxes today 3 skunks 1 box had 2 1968 - D enders. Usually that indicates a nice box, however that all that was in there.

nice score there Webekin! Trapper, what a streak you are on, keep it up! You are speeding towards your goals! And arby, you are swimming in it, those are great #s for 3 years of searching. Congrats! 4 boxes yesterday, 2nd box had a 40%, that was it. I did find this cool coin though, a 10 centimes from 1914 Tunisia

Trapper thanks for the well wishes for my boxes this week, but I don't think I'm going to find enough silver to cover the $21,700 damage estimate on the house. lol Hard to believe that a $350. water heater could do so much damage!! I have searched 3 of the boxes I picked up the other day, but will just post the final results when I'm through searching for the week. I've also got 2 more boxes from the other bank to pick up this afternoon.
Arby you're doing great with the 40%'ers for such a short amount time searching. Do you know how many 90%'ers you've found in this time?

I've been following this thread on and off over the last several months. I do 2-3 boxes of halves each month, so I don't have near the half dollar CRH experience most of you have. I've also had middlin' yield--feeling lucky if I pull a few NIFC out of a box. No real silver to speak of, a couple of proofs, five or six 40%ers, nothing but JFK stuff. I don't seem to get the cool finds all y'all do. I tried a different bank branch (same bank), but the first box a couple of weeks ago was unremarkable. So imagine my surprise today when this popped out of the second box from the different branch.   But this box wasn't done with me yet. When all was said and done, I got seven Walkers and nine Franklins in addition to the Columbus. Walkers--1936, 1942, 1942, 1942, 1943, 1943, 1944 Franklins--1951, 1952, 1954, 1954, 1957, 1958, 1960, 1961, 1962 no mintmarks all common, but nice to look at in the CRH. I swear one those Walkers was a 1921-D but changed its date and mintmark when I set it down {grin}   Think I'll stick with this bank branch for a while. Still lookin' fer that elusive 1975 JFK half {wink, nudge}

Wow! Excellent find! I rarely find 90%s! While you're looking for that 1975, let me know if you find a 1963 JFK!

Quote: Still lookin' fer that elusive 1975 JFK half {wink, nudge} I know a forum member who has a 1975 half. I saw it at one of local club meetings. I have a 1776 half and not the photoshopped one from 4 years ago that someone tried to pass off. I will have see if I can find it for a photo op. I really need to go through the $2K stash of reject halves I have set aside over the years.

Garyon fantastic finds, that is a wonderful score of 90%ers. RCook, I have scored a total of 971-90%ers during the same time. I am hoping to break a 1000 this year. I will have to get really lucky this year with my numbers much lower than the past two. 29 more pieces of silver and I will hit the 4K mark. I would very much like those to be 90%ers. Makes me mouth water just thinking about it
