Seeing the recent proof finds, I was wondering whether anyone has been trying to, achieved, or come close to getting a full set of Kennedy halves 1964 to present from boxes / rolls / circulation, including the proof-only and NIFC issues. I was able to get a complete circulating set 1971-2001 (without 1987) pretty easily from a couple of boxes, but the full set must be extremely difficult and maybe take decades? Nevertheless a worthy objective in my opinion...

Today was a better day, pulling 7 pieces of silver from 4 boxes, no skunks, also pulled 2-Clad Proofs 00 and 05. The breakdown is 1-42 Plated Walker, 6 40%ers, 2-65, 2-67 and 2-68. Not fantastic numbers but good ones. Just glad to get something. 4 more boxes tomorrow. Most of the rolls were the gold and white rolls, not having much luck with those.

I have a full set of proofs from roll hunting (type I & II aside) up to 2014 from roll hunting. I have 8 different 90% silver proofs from roll hunting. https://goccf.com/t/237423&SearchTe...ennedy,proof

I got more half dollar coins, dollar coins, and $2 bills from my bank. It is very likely that it was someone's dump, because on many of the rolls were marked with dates and mintmarks of the coins inside. Doesn't really matter to, since I will spend them anyway. $310 in half dollars, mostly 1995 P in almost mint state no silver at all

In my time CRHing, about 6 months, about 4 boxes a month max, I've found the following S-mint proofs (clad) 1974, 1978, 1981, 1986(nation of immigrants), 1987, 2003, 2004 (2), 2005, 2006. I think a full set of clad proofs would be great, it just seems like it might be a long term goal for sure!

Glad to see the silver is still flowing. As everyone knows I stopped my half dollar orders a few weeks ago because a company was supposed to come in and repair the water damage to my house from a leaking water heater. They didn't show up so I lost 3 weeks of hunting because of it. I just got another completed estimate of the damage from another company yesterday and have to get it to the insurance adjuster. I doubt he's going to be very happy, estimate is over $21,700 and there are a few lines that the person doing the estimate didn't list a price for so I'm sure it would probably be $22,000-$23,000 if the amount was there for those items. Anyway I picked up 4 Brinks boxes yesterday. I haven't searched them yet, but will update when I've looked them over. Nice picture of all the silver there Trapper!!

2 boxes from Tuesday Box 1 had an ender. Ended up with 2 40%ers. Box 2 had a 1964. Also found 2 acid dipped, a gold painted, a couple of NIFC, and a couple of ED AT's.

Hi Anderson I am working on the 64-2016 set with proofs and actually silver proofs. I have the 1970 D and 11 of the newer Silver proofs from boxes been doing this going on 3 years.
