nice finds Jack, especially the 1970. I have not been lucky enough to find one of those.
I only did 8 boxes last week, first 4 were skunks.
2nd set of 4 from Thurs were better, 2 skunks, but the other 2 produced a total of 14 x 40%.
So, at the half way point of the year, that puts me at 119.16 troy oz :-D Let that silver go up, and it may be time to sell a box of 40%!
Good luck to all, hoping it continues this week.

I got a call from a small bank inside of a grocery store I left my number with in case they got any halves in. They had a bag of $500. The last time I got $380 from them almost half were coins I had spent at retail locations and the gas station in the neighborhood I wasn't expecting much this time either and only found 1 NIFC. I picked up the 4 boxes my Friday bank ordered for me since I missed the week before on Saturday. The 4 boxes I got from them on Friday were great. These ones not some much but any silver is good silver. Box 1 was a skunk. Box 2 had 3 40%ers, a 1964, a gold plated, and one roll had a Sac in place of one of the halves so now I am up 50 cents. But since 2 rolls from Friday each had a quarter in them and I lost 50 cents on that deal I guess I am even now. Box 3 had a 40%er and a 1987. Box 4 had 2 1964's and an ED AT toner. I picked up $480 in halves from my emergency bank who always seems to have a box. Someone took 2 rolls out. It always makes me wonder if someone isn't checking them for enders at the bank. Found 1 40%er.

first 2 boxes today, skunked too! *edit 3rd box was a skunk too, but box 4 saved the day, it had an ender, and it gave up 2 walkers and 5 x 40% Walkers included a 1936 slight upgrade, and a 44d. walker in the first roll was the first 90%er in 20 boxes.

I dont reply much because I dont want to hex ya! I think I should change my name to skunk king! Sure do like seeing nice scores of silver that you get and I am amazed at how often and how many you find. I open a box and over half of the coins are marked. I'm working to change that but I think its gonna take some time. I buy brinks and dump at a small 7 branch pirvate bank that has their own stash. I have been on a 1 box a week skunk for 3 weeks and today finally got a 29 walker, 2 64s and 4 67s. The 2nd best box ever for me. I'm woundering if the area in which we live has a lot to do with whats still out there. I live in the chicago area and I would have thought that hunters would come from the less populated areas. But it sure looks to me from all the marked coins I see I might be wrong. The other thing I have discovered is banks around here dont have any halves in their inventory. Have tried 26 to date with none. Keep that free slot machine paying out everyone!

Need to get a box, real bad. Called a bank that I use for a pass book account only, they would order but it might be 6 weeks before they order. Sue recommended I call the main branch, so I did, they had 14 rolls in the vault. Picked them up an hour later, and 28 miles, stopped at sonic for lunch and checked two rolls, no good. Stopped at the convienance store on the way home to purchase lotto tickets for tonights drawing. Checked another roll so I could, pay for my tickets, the ender was a 1967 so I used cash for the tickets. Came home and opened that roll and it had 5 40%, 3 1968 and 2 1967. The other rolls were a bust. So 5 40% out of 14 rolls, not bad, and I called the bank and order 2 boxes, the min. order they would do. She said order before,11:30 on Thursday and get them on Monday. Looking forward to Monday. Webekin

Went through 1600 halves the past several days - 1 box, 15 rolls from the end of a box, and 15 rolls from a new box... So far 1 90% (1964), 3 40% (1967-2, 1968-D), 2005-S proof. Will be getting the other 35 rolls tomorrow from that new box

keep searching, ya never know what you might find. I thought it looked a bit silvery but I guess not.
I managed to scrape up 3 x 40% out of my 4 boxes today.... 2 boxes were skunks.
