Just a lone 40% for this week. Try again next week. Good luck everyone!

First box of halves (Brinks) on the week: 2 40%-ers, an impaired proof, and 4 NIFCs. And, thankfully, no NIFC coins marked with my old ID from another site. Another box to get tomorrow, and one later in the week... BTW, got a String&Son (Garda) box late last week, and it was a skunk except for a couple of NIFCs.

Well another lousy start to this week, 4 boxes all skunks, January Sucked, hope February will be a better month, I am a bit concerned because last week these last two banks skunked me, so this could be the week of all skunks. I know I should not think so negative, but I am on a 12 box skunk streak right now. All I can do is keep plugging along. Good luck everyone.

Nice one, web! I hit a collection dump for my 87s also. Found the three mint mark set in one box. Jack, that might be what takes me so long. I set aside 71D, 72, 73D, 74D, 77D to check for DDO. Haven't found one through 14 boxes, then switched to cents.

Today's box had one roll which weighed 226 grams... had to open that one first, and of course it was a 90% silver 1964-D... NO silver in the 49 rolls which weighed 224-225 grams, but there were 6 NIFCS - strangely, all were two dates: 2002-P (2) and 2007-D (4).

nice find John, and sorry to hear arby. Good luck in Feb. My results so far this week are more like yours.... got that classic quadruple skunk today with yesterday's boxes. was hoping for at least a piece or two, but it was just a barren batch.
Hoping the boxes tomorrow to be more fruitful.

Well I decided to crack the Dime boxes and all 4 boxes are 2016D BU Dimes, no sense in cracking the rolls. LOL

Yep, hate that too. All you can do is push through. I'd have to open them to run them through a machine.

Ugh, arby... you're in a slump... hope you break out of it soon!
I only get full boxes of denominations other than halves when I know that the tellers are getting boxes that aren't shiny new coins. Most of the banks I go to now know that I don't want them... In December, several of my banks got a bunch of LOOMIS and String&Son rolls of 2016-D nickels, and I had to hit some other branches and off banks to make sure I didn't get them...

Searched 2 boxes of halves and found 1 40% in the first box. I was nearly skunked on the second box but found a 1964 in the second last roll.... Love it when that happens!

I started searching November 2013, searched over 1.6 million coins and have never had a skunk week until today. I knew it was only a matter of time before it happened I was just hopping it would not happen until later. 20 Box Skunk streak, I know there are many of you who have experienced this already and have had a longer skunk streak than 20. I wonder how many more boxes before I hit some silver. I hear its easy to get discouraged and want to give up, I am not there yet, I think if I hit 50 box skunk streak I might start to question if I want to continue. I wish you all the best, please keep posting those awesome photos I know they will help keep me motivated. Ya'll have a great weekend.

Just to cheer up those of you who have been getting 1 40% silver coin per box, I picked up a lovely box of half dollars recently. When I went to go obtain up my order, this was waiting for me... As per its stamp, the box was completely full of heavily marked, hand-wrapped coins. To make matters worse, many rolls were even sliced open along their sides by a presumed edge-checker. I'm not even sure how the stacks of half dollars stayed together inside the box during the shipment process; many of these types of rolls readily dumped out their contents when I tried to pick them up. If anyone here happens to practice such a method too, please be a little more considerate and at least re-roll the coins the normal way. It would be much appreciated by those of us who would like to cut our losses by re-using the rolls (rather than using fresh ones).
