Congrats on the 70d! I've only managed to score a 70 proof. Congrats everyone on the silver finds. Seems like February has been slow. It really has to me since Monday was a holiday and the bank forgot to order early! Oh well there is always next week! Fingers crossed, maybe march will yield some silver!

Earendil, congrats on the 70-D and 87-P finds... I have yet to find either in my current run (found an 87-P years ago)...

Got two boxes this week - 1 Brinks, 1 LOOMIS... each had 3 NIFCs and not much else, save for this little 1941 Walker which popped out of the Brinks box! It's the oldest half I've ever found!

It has been a rough start to the year the dry streak continues. It is really discouraging. I guess I will just plug along and see how it goes.

Week before last I reported finding 5 pieces of silver, but after rechecking I found that it was 6 pieces all being 40%. This past week I got 2 40% out of 6000 coins. I also got 1 1974D DDO, if I recall correctly 13 proofs with one of them being an Ellis Island commemorative and 200 2002-date NIFC. There were several upgrades to my circulated proof set in those and this was my third find of an Ellis Island proof. It's a shame all those NIFC coins couldn't have been silver. If anyone ever needs 2002-date NIFC coins for their collection let me know I'll let them go much cheaper than you can buy them on ebay. I have NIFC of all years from 2002-2016 and 1987 with the least being 1987 and 2016. 2017 YTD silver 20.4143 troy oz.

Nothing like picking up your boxes from the bank especially when it's been two weeks since they forgot to order! Update soon! Good luck everyone!

Trapper, Jack, Skib, smeyers, and everyone else excellent finds, This week started out okay, 4 boxes, 3 skunks, box 3 produced 4 pieces of silver, 1-66, 2-68 and 1-69. also a 78 Diez Pesos. Trapper does the "A" kind of look like a star? If so its most likely mine. If you find another one please take a pic and I will be able to tell.

4 boxes from yesterday were above average for results, despite 2 of them being skunks

The other 2 gave up 6 90% and 6 40%. One was a 1942 walker. Def a good start to the week. Good luck to all,

Got my first box.

Only opened 3 rolls

No AG end-ers

But many 1976 end-ers ~~ doubles and singles

In the 3 rolls I did open found (9) 1976 Bicentennial

The three rolls I did open were not 1976 end-ers

Just a guesstimate in this nutty box.

There might be as many as 80 to 100 Bicentennial Half dollars

Question:

Does that sound high?

Thanks
