I wouldn't be surprised if your estimate on 1976's is low. They are very common with over 1/2 billion of them minted between the Denver and Philadelphia mint's.

Rcook

yep !

Opened 3 more rolls ~~ all double end-ers

found 11 in one roll

Total of 22 more in those 3 rolls

Gad.

Raising my guesstimate to 200-300 in the box.

Anyone think there is a market on ebay for them?

I've stopped opening rolls ~~ for now.

I injured my hand ~~ first aid bandage, requires I wait

Domain, that has happened to me as well, I had over a thousand of them in two boxes, most rolls were double enders, All I could do is laugh, Skibdib, nice score. I went to pick up 4 boxes after making my dump, and the bank manager told me the woman who was ordering didn't pick up for two weeks, and call her today and told her she no longer wanted to order boxes, so instead of getting 4 boxes I picked up 8, 4 of them were skunks and the other 4 yielded 28 pieces of silver, 7-90%ers, 1-42S Walker, 1-49 Franklin, 5-64 Kennedy's, 21-40%ers, 1-65, 3-66, 4-67, 7-68, and 6-69, 2-NIFC 02D and 10D.

My finds this week were a Benjamin franklin, a 1964, and 7 40%. I found a lot of coins with 3 dots on the edges. Two dots seemed closer away from the third dot. Wondering if this is anyone's here!

I must state March has started out well, my last 4 boxes for the week yielded me another 14-40%ers, 1-65, 2-66, 6-67, 2-68 and 3-69, 1-67 English Penny which I forgot to put in the photo, and 1-Kennedy that someone attempted to maybe make into a magic coin. The Obverse is completely milled off. I wish you all the best of luck and hope you all score lots of silver.
What an awesome week.

Had my worst box EVER today... 2 NIFCs (A very circulated 2009-P and an AU 2009-D) and that was it. Hopefully tomorrow's box will be better.

I also got 1 1974D DDO, if I recall correctly 13 proofs with one of them being an Ellis Island commemorative and 200 2002-date NIFC. There were several upgrades to my circulated proof set in those and this was my third find of an Ellis Island proof. It's a shame all those NIFC coins couldn't have been silver. If anyone ever needs 2002-date NIFC coins for their collection let me know I'll let them go much cheaper than you can buy them on ebay. I have NIFC of all years from 2002-2016 and 1987 with the least being 1987 and 2016. 2017 YTD silver 20.4143 troy oz.

Out of curiosity, what are your total finds by year and mint on the 2002-2016 NIFCs, RCook? I'm trying to figure out which ones are hardest to find. So far the 2008-D (2), 2013-D (2), and 2016-P (0) have been the hardest to find out here on the West coast. The 2004-P (3), 2011-P (3), and 2014-D (3) have also been challenging. Interestingly, the most common ones for me have been the 2009-P (29) and 2009-D (20) coins.

And Domain555, the Bicentennial Halves are the most common halves of all - almost 522 million of them were produced in 1975 and 1976. More than likely, you will not find people on ebay interested in them unless they're pristine BU coins without marks.

Thanks for the help

I am 1/2 way through the only box I have received.

Have about 150+ so far ~~ No NIFC

A very Few could be called pristine.

No AG (yet)

Searching the "SOLD" Bicentennial bulk sales on ebay shows the seller are about netting a cent or two per coin -- not worth the work of selling.

I am wondering why they bother?

Oh well, maybe I will hit some (any) AG in the last 1/2 of the rolls

If I'm not ~~ must I be loco.

Would like to be able to sell the other 999 coins.

But I don't think it will work

One "cute" idea would be to drive to little retail stores to see if they want any ~~ for their cash register
