Cracked 4 boxes last night 3 skunks, box 3 produced 1-64, 1-65, 1-66, 2-67, and 3-69's. Also rescued 85S Clad Proof. Its nice to score silver two weeks in a row after that long skunk streak. Nice Score Jack, Toner is cool, do you think its been heated or natural? Were the two Ellis Island in the same box? Getting two of the same comm's at the same time doesn't happen too often.

When I went into one of my banks yesterday to pick up 4 boxes my favorite head teller gave me some bad news. She said the bank was thinking about getting rid of their coin machine and if they didn't were thinking about imposing a 3% usage fee on it. I'm sure if this happens it's a decision put in place by someone up the chain of command. This head teller has been great to me, when I couldn't find a dump bank she volunteered to not only get me 4 boxes a week but also take approximately $3K in dumps each week so I could continue this hobby. She's been getting me halves for nearly 2 1/2 years and been taking my dumps for probably over 1 1/2 years with no complaints and little pay (chocolates or a milk shake every couple months). I'm hoping and praying this doesn't happen, but if it does there's a good chance this will slow my half searching considerably since I haven't been able to find anyone else willing to take my dumps. I'll probably still be able to get a couple boxes per month to use as deposits into a checking account at another bank and lots of my everyday purchases will be made using half dollars to get rid of them so I can get more but it still won't be like getting $3K per week. I'm not going to jinx myself by giving out my numbers thus far this week but will update with my finds after I search the other two boxes I get tomorrow. Quote: Box 1 had some good stuff in it. 2 Ellis Island proofs, a 1964, 2 40%ers, 2 stickered coins, a toned 1990 proof, 1 lowball 1976, and 2 rolls worth of NIFC including 2 2015. Jack I have several of those ULTRA RARE stickered coins I'll sell you at the LOW, LOW, PRICE of only $5. each. LOL. Congratulations on the silver, commemoratives, and proof. Quote: Cracked 4 boxes last night 3 skunks, box 3 produced 1-64, 1-65, 1-66, 2-67, and 3-69's. Nice comeback from the long skunk streak.

Rcook, sorry to hear about your bank issues, hope they don't mess things up for ya, All my banks charge 3-6% only if you are not a member. So far They haven't ask members to pay that fee, I Had a great ending to the week, 4 boxes 2 skunks, Box 2 had 7 enders, I pulled 15-90%ers and 29-40%ers, and 1-64 Silver Canadian Half, 3-NCIFs, and a rescued well circulated 72S Clad proof. The 90%ers are 1-45 Walker, 2-Bennies, 1-52D and 1-61D, 6-64D and 6-64, 40%ers, 2-65, 6-66, 10-67, 10-68 1-69. Very grateful for an awesome ending to the week. Wishing you all the best of luck, hope you all have a wonderful weekend. 7 Enders

Everything in the picture (and the 2 rolls of NIFC not pictured that had 2 2015) were all from the same box. Since the proof is clad I would guess AT but who would spend the time to AT a coin and then dump it into circulation unless this was from a recent (given the 2015 halves) stolen collection dump and the AT was purchased on ebay.

Wow Arby, that's a couple really nice boxes.
Hopefully my bank will keep the coin machine and waive the fee to account holders. I have several thousand dollars in an account there with automatic deposit set up so hopefully they'll take that into consideration.

nice boxes arby, I really like the canadian, I have not found one of those before.
My Thursday order also failed to come in... that is 2 out of last 3 orders missed. Something seems up.
And the boxes that did come in this week, on Wed instead of on Tues, were all unstamped, something I have not seem before. 4 unstamped boxes. And the scary part was that there was a 2017 D coin in there. How the heck is a 2017 D coin in my box when I'm on the east coast and its only a week into march?
It just seemed weird. Hopefully I can get 4 boxes today, and they have a stamp of some sort. I don't trust those unstamped boxes until they produce something.

Skib, no 2017 for me, but I've also never had a box of halves with a stamp in any of the 5 states I've searched. Apparently, I've searched different Fed zones than the zone you're located in.

I picked up my other two boxes this afternoon. More bad news, they've been searched, customer re-rolled, put back in the original boxes and taped shut. These are dumps from the same person I got from that bank a few weeks ago, I know by the initials DG on the box and rolls. I didn't complain, but one of the tellers made the comment that the boxes were ragged, there was a small hole in the box so I just stuck my finger in it and ripped the box a little and said here's the reason they're ragged, they've already been searched and sent out by the courier service without being re-rolled/reboxed. I didn't complain but thought maybe if I let them know what was going on they'd keep an eye out and ask for other boxes if it happens again. Although I don't expect to find any silver I have found other coins such as errors, proofs or NIFC in previously searched boxes before. I've looked through one of the boxes and there was absolutely nothing of interest and will probably look at the other box later tonight. The best part of getting these boxes is that the stamp number on the box is one that's been pretty dry anyway.
My other 4 boxes for the week produced 37 pieces of silver. 10 90%, 27 40%. Of the 90%ers there was a 1958D and 1961D Franklin and a 1936S Walking Liberty hole filler. YTD silver, 31.0324 troy oz. Also found 1 1982 no FG.
Skib, I've had boxes in the past without any stamp number. I don't recall any great boxes in them but as I remember some have produced small amounts of silver. The stamp number that I've been getting quite a bit over the past several months from one of my banks is 6059, they too have been slim on silver. I haven't seen any 2017 halves either.
The second of my boxes that had already been searched had a 1989S proof and 4 2002-date NIFC in it.
