Told me the halves were the rolls with my mark on them. Needless to say I left them.
Better luck next time.

My box today yielded 8 NIFCs and a 1972-S proof.

Yesterday, a tray of 8 coins yielded a 1967 and 1968-D.

Thanks, jbuck. Haven't been able to hunt halves as much the past few months, but I have had some nice finds.

nice John. I have not found any NIFC's yet, but I know I will at some point. Have had tons of beginners luck with silver. I went out today and didn't find a thing (other than 2 gold 1980 halves), but I got a lead from a bank branch that should change that tomorrow. 1 of the branches had nothing for me today, but they told me to go back tomorrow. Was told they have $700.00 in halves and over 1K in dollar coins. The person who can give them to me was not working today but is opening tomorrow. Assuming the coins are Susan B & Gold Dollars but interested to see. I will be there at 9 AM when they open. I'm hoping it is not a bank dump for another hunter. Come on collecting gods (fingers crossed and everything...). Will LYK once I get back from bank tomorrow on how it goes.

They pull out silver coins and the copper from pennies. They sell them on ebay as "webcoins", but they are the same company as NF String.

Just got back from the bank with $740.00 in halves. Bank told me they were deposited by a business, so I'm hoping that is the case. I guess if I end up with 74 rolls of nothing I know what the business was. Opened 4 rolls but nothing so far. 70 rolls to go. Will LYK what I have found once I'm done

IMTBM, what makes you think NF string pulls silver? After all, they make coin wrappers. Tell us more about Webcoins.

Also don't hold your breath for a 1970, I've never found one in over 1000 boxes.

Good luck on your 70 rolls!

I found an ebay store for webcoins... looks like they sell the unusual items that they find in their commercial coin wrapping business. Not sure how efficient they are at pulling 90% silver, but at any rate I think it is impossible to tell if an NF roll from your bank is from NF, the bank themselves, or a customer.

It was here on the forums that showed their corporate license. Both companies out of the same physical address. They are 100% pulling copper and giving the banks zinc rolls for pennies. Not sure how much silver or copper they miss, but 100% fact they are pulling before wrapping. They might no be able to go through everything before going through it, but they are for sure going through some. That being said I think I got someones dumped halves. Have just gone through a little over 20 rolls with nothing so far. Will LYK once I'm done how I made out. Happy Hunting everyone.
