My word, cabowabo! That's awesome! Did you get any better date halves amongst your Walkers or Franklins?
And Ben Cartwright SASS, those are just the breaks... lots of highs and lows in searching halves. All you can do is keep plugging away.
CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!

Went to one of my dump banks to cash in $400 of halves. then stopped at a second bank where I had gotten 30 BWR's of Saturday, asked if they had any halves, they said not rolls but they did have 6 loose halves. So I said ok. could see silver reading when I was given them. In the car I looked, 2 40% 1967 and a 1969D

My local chase had one box, but they wouldn't part with all of it. I got $300. 1/600 coins was a 40% 1967. Better than nothing.

I finished my 2nd box and got skunked on silver yet again. I did find a 1974 S Proof and 9 NIFC's. The NIFC's are 1987S, 2005D, 2009D, 3-2010D, 2010P, 2013D, & 2015D. I also kept 1 roll sealed with the reverse of a 1992 Columbus Commemorative Half Dollar ender. I picked up 2 more cases from Rockland Bank. They are the only bank I get cases from that get them from Loomis. Hoping a new carrier will break my bad silver run. Will LYK how I do once I get them opened. Happy Hunting everyone.

Not really CRHing as the teller had the coins. He stopped an older lady dumping coins into a CC, but she had dumped coins for about 3 minutes before he investigated. He has been holding them for a year or so and when we talked about it he agreed to sell to me. So he had 26 90% including a 1951 and 1959 Franklin and 38 40% I paid $5 for the 90% and 1.50 for the 40% around here the 90s are selling for $8 and the 40% around $3 so I think I did ok even better is he is going to watch for silver for me and save it and I will pay dealer price for it. He is also going to ask Garda if he can buy the half bag off their machine, we would split whatever we find. But I don't hold out much hope for that as the person is just a courier from Garda. I wonder if I could contact Garda themselves and see if they will sell unopened bags? Since I also buy/collect junk silver I am happy with the transaction.

10x face for the 90% and 3x face for the 40% is a great deal. Congrats.

Great finds...you guys are making my jealous. I opened the 1st Loomis case and got silver skunked again (1-40% in last 5 cases total). I did find 3 NIFC's (2002D, 2003D, & 2004P) + a 1982 Diez Pesos that says Estados Unidos Mexicanos on the reverse. I will open the 2nd Loomis case today and let you know how I do. Happy Hunting everyone.

Don't feel bad ImTBM, I very rarely find any silver in my boxes in the Detroit area. I'm more focused on finding No FG coins instead, which I've had luck at! Just another route to look at.
