I am doing a gun show this weekend, I am setting up a case with coins for sale, since I am displaying my Boston Police gun collection (don't sell) and paying for the table it will all be profit. I have some proofs and mint and proof sets to see if they sell.

I am going to try selling 4 of my NO FG Kennedy's, going to ask $10 each as they are XF/AU and they seem to go anywhere from $5 to $12 on ebay.

I have 2 1982P No FG's that I am thinking of submitting to ANACS to certify and what I could get for them depends on the grade they get along with the NO FG

UPDATE ON KENNEDY ALBUM

I have been working on filling a Whitman folder, maybe I should break down and buy either a Whitman or Dansco Album for my circ finds, but...

Anyhow the first two folders, pre-2004 are all filled. Here is my 2004-Date album, still working on filling holes from boxes and loose change

BenCSASS, nice work! You'll get the entire series if you keep at it.

I've collected 3 sets of the entire JFK business strike series (1964-2015) in AU (or better) through CRHing. The 3 sets are for my 3 kids, 1 set each. I could create more sets at this point, but I'm not that bored, yet :) I honestly believe coins will no longer be used as money in the USA within my lifetime, so even a common 1971D JFK half in BU condition will be worth more than face. Meanwhile, I'll keep searching and keeping the best coins I can find because I enjoy the hunt.

berto I hope you are right but I am afraid that once coins are no longer used the hobby will go the way stamp collecting it, it is dying.

I am moving my kennedy's to a Dansco album, got a used one at the coin store for $5

I picked up 3 boxes of halves Monday, 2 for me and one for my brother(his first hunt). He didn't find any silver but he did get three NIFC's.
My first box had 2 hand rolled rolls and 48 machine rolled rolls. The machine rolled had been hunted(as seen in pic). I wasn't expecting much from that box but was pleasantly surprised.
I got 1 40% from the one of the hand rolled. the 48 rolls that had been searched yielded 8 NIFC's and 2 1972's that is missing the "F" and has a weak "G" that I added to my collection.

My second box was a "skunk"

Was the searched box sealed, the flaps glued or open?

My teller called me, a lady had come in today to dump some Kennedy's in the coin machine but didn't know how to use it so asked him. Since I had told him what to look for he bought them from her and called me.
She had 40 40%'s and 12 90% including 4 Franklins and a Lexington Concord Commemorative in about VF/XF. Paid $5 for the 90% and 1.50 for the 40%. He made money and I did ok.
I paid him $5 for the Lexington as it looked beatup when we first checked them. Now looking at it I would say the reverse is VF and the Obverse is XF, I see them going on ebay between 20 and 30, most closer to the $30. So I will call him tomorrow and tell him that it was better than I thought and offer him an extra $5 or $10, so I will pay $10-$15 total, don't have to but it will probably make him happy and he may watch for more commems. I know dealers usually pay about 50% of what they hope to sell it for.
