Opened 3 Loomis boxes over the weekend. 8 40% and 1 banged up Proof. That is much better than I usually do on boxes. When I do score silver from boxes it is almost always 40%. I will take whatever I get.  |

Great finds Pan and Cabo! I searched two boxes yesterday and my silver luck continued. 3 bens in the first box and 3 more in the second. I found a walker in the very last roll of the 2nd box-always a great way to end a hunt . The odd thing was that all 6 Franklins were 1949 - 2 S, 4 P.  Hopefully , I'll get a few more tomorrow. I went to an unfamiliar Chase bank today and asked for halves. They almost got away with denying having any, but I asked if there were any in the vault. They said yeah, we have $510. Strange number. Anyways, it was a bag with 51 rolls that they were about to send out. I bought it even though my brain said- don't buy someone else's dump. That is exactly what it seemed to be. Rerolled, taped, and almost worthless. However, to my great shock- 2 40% that were either missed, or were added in to the main lot.  |

Have a bank that I visit 2-3 times a week. Usually they have nothing, but today they had $130 in halves. Only had $60 on me, so I got the 6 rolls and found this.  First one I've ever owned. |

My thinking is someone's collection got dumped and you got some of the residual. CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!
