Picked up my 2nd box of the week, and it was much better than the first. 7th roll in had a 1968-D. No other silver was found, but 7 NIFCs showed up including the tough-to-find 2008-P and 2011-D coins.

Made a few stops on Thursday picked up 4 40%s. Went to another bank that produced 90%s in the past. Very nice teller says I have one roll in the vault that you can buy. Of course I take it and when I open it the end coin is a 1942 Walker empty the rest of the roll a 1940 Walker and 4 Bennys.  |

Nice score, cabowabo! As for me, I went to dump off $50 in dimes at one of my local banks this morning. When I did so, I asked the teller if he had any halves... he had 4 rolls, one of which had an old style wrapper... went to my car and opened it, and sure enough, it was all 40% silver Kennedy halves!  The other three rolls had nothing worth keeping.    Went to a few other banks I like to frequent asking for halves... and I find one branch with a single roll - old style wrapper as well. I open it and see a shiny 1973-D Kennedy... 3 more of them pour out, then out pour 12 90% silver Franklin halves! The other end had 4 1973 Philly Kennedys in BU. Even better is that one of the coins was an AU 1949 Philly, and another a 1953 Philly (the 2nd rarest coin in the Franklin set). It was truly a great batch as the only coin amongst them with a mintage of over 10 million was a 1951-S.     Yeah, I just pulled 32 silver halves for free today! Thanks, pan4au and cabowabo! Two boxes this week produced a single 40% silver coin... dealer trays and 5 CWR (105 coins total) produced 33 silvers (21 40%, 12 90%)... I think I need to hit some more local banks this next week asking for halves!

I just finished searching 6 boxes I ended up with five 90% silvers (1- 57D Ben) and 12 40% silvers. 4 proofs.. 52 NIFC's 6 of which were 2018.. the fist I've found so far. I also found 1-82P "No FG" and a 74D "No FG". I found 4 more with the "Chilada's Easy Street Cafe" stickers on them. One of the NIFC's was, sadly, scratch marked   |

I picked up 5 40% on Friday. The 1970 looks really nice.  |
