cabowabo Pillar of the Community United States 1084 Posts	Posted 07/25/2018 11:52 pm Opened 4 boxes last week skunked. Hit a few banks on Friday with nothing to show for my efforts. Dragged myself into another bank, teller said I have some halves and places them on the counter in 2 stacks the taller one being all silver and she sells them to me. I think it was 2 64s and 12 40% looked BU along with 3 clads. I thought it interesting how she seperated the coins. Then go next door ask for halves teller says I don't have any but would you like 33 Silver Certificates ? She goes on to say most are very worn but a couple are in nice shape and there is a 1928 in there. She pulls out an envelope with writing on it $33 Silver Certificates. Things turned out pretty good. arby96 Pillar of the Community United States 2111 Posts	Posted 07/26/2018 4:42 pm Picked up my last four boxes for this week all skunks, The bright side is I asked the teller if she had any rolls of Halves, She said she had one plus three coins in her tray. Which was awesome, I got 2-40%ers 1-65 and 1-69, and the CWR had 7 more 40%ers, 1-66, 2-67 and 1-68, 3-69. Even though the boxes were skunks the Teller came through for me. pan4au Valued Member United States 190 Posts	Posted 07/27/2018 10:07 am Congrats guys on your finds here's my meager finds from this weeks CRH of 6 boxes produced 1- 90% Silver a 1951 Franklin and 5-40% Silvers. Also got a few proof, a 1986S Statue of Liberty half with PMB and 37 NIFC's(not pictured) I dumped a few of them due to condition. I also found another 1972D No FG...... boxes 5 & 6 were skunks.. Silver Eagle Pillar of the Community United States 864 Posts	Posted 07/27/2018 10:14 pm After 13 boxes of all 1995, I finally got 3 boxes of circulated coins. I was skunked, but at least it was nice to have the possibility of finding silver again. All was not lost as I scored 5 Ike's from the teller. I have 12 boxes coming this week, so hopefully I'll find some silver. Glad to others are still pulling silver from the wild... happy hunting! Report this Post to the Staff
