This weeks, 6 box, hunt started off with box 1 being a skunk and only got better. The remaining 5 boxes had 3 90% silvers.. a 1953D & 1963D Franklin's and a 1964 Ken.
There was 40- 40% silvers.. 3-proofs, 57 NIFC's (1 was a nice 87P) I also found 4.. No FG's.. a 73D, a 77P and two 82P

Nice finds pan!
I broke my bad skunk today. 2 boxes produced a 1968 D each. Not much, but the curse is broken.

Thanks all. Big Silver you never know what the next box will hold.. I saw on FB where some found over 600 (639 I believe) 40% in one box.. un imaginable. He weighs the rolls before opening.. he had 38 that weighed over 227 grams (most weigh between 225-226 grams)

WOW!

And just to let you know, I now weigh my half dollar rolls before opening them too - I got a new scale a month ago. I haven't found a silver in my boxes since I got the scale... all of my rolls have weighed between 224.74 and 226.15 grams.

For me, I would not want to weight the rolls because it would take the fun of the "random re-enforcement" (not knowing if you will find anything until you actually open the roll) out of the process, but to each their own.

Everyone's got their own method to their madness... my box was again silverless. All the rolls were between 224.48 grams (a holed coin), and 226.12 grams. Did find a nice shiny 1979-S Proof (the clogged S one), and a 1987-P along with 2005D, 2006D, and 2009P NIFCs.

Just finished my first 8 boxes for this week, 1-67 and 1-69. Also pulled 2 Clad proofs 98, and 99. Off to make a dump and pick up me last four boxes for this week. Looks like I may not make my goal of ten this week. We will see what happens.
