Quote: Just today, went for $17.50 worth and pulled 2 40%ers, 1 1966 and 1 BU 1968. I've always had excellent luck with halves; scattered 40%ers are not uncommon and my best find was ~10 90%ers (all 64s) and ~100 40%ers in $120 worth of CWRs. Never pulled a Ben or Walker though. Nice finds!

A bit late but these were pulled from 4 different banks on Wednesday. One of the banks had $160 in CWR but the teller said she couldn't go in the vault at this time. I gave her my number she called in 15 minutes asked if I wahted the rolls. Well I went right back and they had 1 W.L and 10 40%.

Cab, nice finds! You live in a very productive area. You're fortunate! Enjoy, and good luck.

Very nice. I wonder how Bens and Walkers even get sent to banks, besides having been in collections and subsequently dumped by people who didn't know they were silver. Are business strike clad Ikes worth anything?
@jbuck: since I obviously don't intend on looking through thousands of back pages of this, what is the best find you've seen in this thread so far, that you can remember? Just wondering what's really out there.

I will have to think about this for a bit.

Very nice finds, cabowabo. I'm anxiously awaiting getting back into the hunt on Wednesday - I normally curtail things in September to focus on my fantasy baseball leagues... Here are my 2018 finds totals to date... note that almost all of the Walkers and Franklins were found at the same branch of a bank in four separate dumps very obviously from someone's collection - this is why you see a total of 2 under so many of the Franklins (there were also 4 1976-S 40% Silvers among them).

Good Evening Everyone, It turned out to be a good day, When I picked up my boxes they told me they didn't order, There is a new teller making my orders. She stated there might be a couple boxes in the vault and asked me if I wanted them? Of course I said yes, low and behold. My first 4 boxes for this week yielded me 17 pieces of silver, 6-90%ers, and 11-40%ers. 1-43S Walker, 1-62D and 1-63 Bennie, 3-64's also pulled 1-66, 4-67, 4-68 and 2-69. All that came out of 2 boxes.
