On my way to the dentist, stopped to dump the 2 boxes that had the 1962D Bennies.(See above)Ask teller if she had any SBA, no she says, any large Ike dollars I ask, no she says. The next teller over says, don't we have some large dollars in the safe? They return with a box and ask how many do I want, she ask? Well I have $1,000.00 after dumping the halves, so I ask how many do you have? She say 49. I take them all. Happy days. Never seen any wrapped in cellophane tape before. Guess there is no need to open and inspect. The box had a notation "halves = $5.00", suppose I missed a half roll of silver halves. Webekin

Congrats Web and Cabo on your finds. My second set of four boxes all skunks, I did find two 69's that I missed while making me dump. So my number increases from 17 to 19 this week. This is what happens when one only does edge checking.

Nice scores cabowabo and webekin!
As for me, my boxes that were supposed to come today didn't - the bank holidays always mess up Brinks! So I have to wait until next week. Oh well!

Just to finish off last week. I went back to the bank to see the other teller that had some halves. She had 2 CWR the same as the other teller with very similar results. 30 40% all clean white coins. These had to have all come from the same person. I then go to another bank that has produced silver in the past she has $8 loose.coins. Half of them were 40%. I was very lucky this week. My final totals for last week are: 1 Silver Ike, 1 W.L, 2 Bens, 3 90% JFK, 142 40% JFK and 18 Proof JFK.

Nice finds cabowabo and webekin I searched 6 boxes this week. Boxes 1,2,4&5 were skunks.. no silver Boxes 3&6 held 6-40% silvers I also ended up with a72d with a small die crack on the reverse. I also found a 79 NO FG and a 82 NO FG. 3 proofs that I dumped as they were degraded. 19 NIFC's plus a 87d and a front half of a Magicians coin. I've been thinking of stop CRH as I have a lot of neck and shoulder pain from my neck surgery. My two banks is making my decision easier... Today I went to my dump bank.. they want to start charging me 10% because I dump so many and it cost them so much to deal with the coins( I left that branch and dumped them at a different branch) When I got home I saw on my caller ID that the bank that I order from had called. I called them up and they said that they were supposed to be charging me for special orders. They said after Nov.1 they would charge $7 for orders up to $3k and 20¢ a roll for orders over $3k.

Nice finds, cabowabo and pan4au.
As for me, bought 5 already searched rolls someone had taken to one of my banks... must have been a "silver searcher" as one of the rolls had a 2003-D dated NIFC.

pan, nice work! It sounds like now would be a good time for you to take a break from CRHing for awhile. I am also considering a break from boxes of halves until after the holidays. Meanwhile, I plan to pickup CWR halves here and there.
