My wife has been having good luck getting halves at the bank, 1 month ago she got 2 CWR rolls, 1 roll was solid 40%, two weeks ago she got 8 CWR rolls 5 rolls nothing the other 3 had 56, 40% and today she got $11.00 and 2 of them where 90% Kennedy. She is such a sweet heart she gives them all to me. Best of luck to everyone. Merry Christmas to all

Finished last week on a good note. Friday first bank had $160 CWR the first roll had a Benny. The rest of the rolls produce 13 40%. A few other banks gave up an additional 6 40%. Happy Hoidays To All.

Awesome score Cabowabo, My first four boxes all skunks, Now back up to 16 skunks in a row, I did pull a very nice 1986 Nation of Immigrants clad Commemorative also a couple of ripoff counter stamped Kennedy's. I took a picture of someones mark on the 97 does anyone recognize it? Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and or Holiday, however you celebrate I hope it was marvelous. This year just might end on a skunk streak, that would be a first and not a very good sign into the new year.

This may sound dumb, but I just got my first two boxes of half-dollars I ordered and I wasn't sure how mad they were going to be having to lug around those 30lbs boxes for me.
It went fine but now I'm worried how it will be whenever I try to return these rolls at another bank.
I may be over thinking it, but I feel like they are going to hate me or ban me from returning if I do it too much.

I found one last week and dumped in over $1,700 and they had to replace 3 bags (quarters, dimes, and nickles) Now if I go back and dump in $1,000 worth of half-dollars, I feel like they will be mad at me. Is this generally not the case or how do you all do it?

Is this generally not the case or how do you all do it? I have the same problem here. Accept, I have several dump Credit Unions. I always carry 2 or 3 proof/clad Kennedy's with me in 2x2's... Ones I've found searching. One of the receptionists (usually a small female), is the one that usually has to change those heavy bags. Giving them one of those proof's, eases the pain and they'll remember you.

I did think about going to my local popular bakery and getting a few cupcakes to take in before I dumped this 2nd time around and just giving those to whoever has to replace the bags. Feel like after awhile this adds up though, but maybe its just part of the hobby expense.

Flournoy, become friendly with the individuals who order and the manger, go out of your way to say thank you, When they change bags, when you buy more coins, before you leave, its a constant for me even when I just go in to make a regular deposit. I try and find the manager say hello, ask how their day is going. I make them feel like a friend more than me just coming in and doing business. It works here for me, and I have been 3-4 days a week for 5 years and new managers. Kill them with kindness, a couple of pizzas, popcorn, Christmas Cards and snacks, Starbucks gift card when you hit that big score. Call me crazy but It works. One other thing always ask them how they are doing you will be surprised how much people like to talk about what is going on in their lives.
