I went through a small batch (20 rolls) of bank-rolled Kennedy halves over the weekend. While the overall haul was a bit disappointing (no NIFC; nothing dated later than 1998), there were three 40% silver pieces -- less than 1% of the 400-coin total. Still, at least it wasn't a total shutout -- and the 1968-D was a fairly nice-looking half.

My normal 2 boxes every other week. Box 1 had a 1969, 2002, and a 2012, the NIFC were not in the best condition. Box 2 was better. Had an ender, 1959D, and 2 '66, 2 '67, 2'68, 2'69, and a lone 2003. Turned out better than expected after the fierst box. GL HH Webekin

Drove the wife to her eye appointment, stopped at 2 banks and collected a total of $6.00 in halves to use to replace the silver ones I find. I prefer to return full boxes of halves. Stopped at a new this spring, branch bank, ask if they had any halves, loose or rolls? She had several rolls, told her I would take them, she ask how many? I said all you have. Thinking several, was 2-3. She said she had $460.00 worth, 46 rolls. Told her I would take $400.00 worth. While she was collecting them I found another $20.00, so took 2 more rolls. After she passed them to me in new bank zipper bags she provided, I ask, "do you get rolls often?" She said, "No these were from an estate cleanup!!!!!!" We drove away and stopped, first roll my wife opened had a 1969, so found another $40.00 on the sun visor and returned and purchased the other 4 rolls. Short story, found 2 '66, 4 '67, and 1 1969. So another OZ. of silver, plus the newest coin was 1995. Some of these were very nice condition.GL HH Webekin

Arby take care of yourself. Remember you can come back anytime. Got all this from one bank. The 2 NIFC rolls were in Brinks wrappers solid date 1993 and 1998 along with the 2001 Mint Wrapped roll. The other roll hd 2 40%.
