Quote:I picked up six boxes this week, My first 2 boxes were skunks. My next 3 out of 4 boxes were awesome. I pulled these 19 beautiful 1964D's and 1-1954S Bennie. Had two enders. I saving one to put up on my Etsy Page. I like to share when I get a score like this. These are all AU to MS Coins. It still blows me away someone can cash these in for face value. Enjoy everyone. Nice finds. I just did 2 boxes with no silver but still sorting for NIFC's and proofs. Have like 500 on my desk right now. Just started getting boxes and my first was 3 1964's (one AU) and 3 1968's. My next box had 15 NIFC's in VF to AU and 3 proofs. Keep hoping I will hit a roll(s) like the ones you posted. BTW - Did you clean these coin as they look really shiny.

I looked through altogether $150 in halves this last week, no silver or NIFC's. A while ago (2018), I have found silver, but not recently. I will try to order a box of halves this week hopefully. My bank is very nice, they have been letting me pickup and dump for at least 14 years (I started coin roll hunting when I was around 10 years old, and I am 24 years old now). I in the past have gotten a box of halves, and dumped it there after searching. They had no problem with it. So I will try to post any finds here and on my thread also. I think that even if I don't find anything, I will still post an update. Hopefully I will find something soon.

Cabo and Gsr awesome scores, Love that Barber. Danjor no, I didn't clean these coins. If you check out that Ender there was no need to bath them. Remember there is cleaning which is no no, and bathing coins. Its important to know the difference. Almost all cleaning products will remove the original luster of the coin. One truly need to know the difference. Mild soap and water to remove surface dirt usually is not an issue. Good luck everyone on your searches.

I remembered seeing people said that if you are not able to get a box of half dollars, then get whatever rolls from the bank. I've been asking for half dollars in the past couple of weeks, most of the bank don't have any and some of them have only $50,$100 etc. Since they are pretty much all customers wrapped half dollars, I thought they were well searched and I never gonna get any silver from those customers wrapped rolls. But yesterday, I got only $20 half dollars from the bank, that's all they have at that time. And then I found my first silver half dollar in CRH!

It was a couple of pages back at this point, but the 9 1964 and the 3 other 40% half dollars I got were from customer wrapped rolls, so you never know!

Stopped at a bank on Friday. The teller had I think 9 or 10 rolls. All the rolls were in the same type of wrappers except one. I start opening the rolls getting a silver here and there not bad. I save the roll that is in a different style wrapper for last, solid silver 19 40% and 1 90%. wound up with a total of 1 90% and 27 40%.
