Yesterday I got another 2005 NIFC, seems to be a lot of NIFC coins out in circulation.

Quote: ... did have a couple good ones that yielded a little bit of everything, one Ben, a few 40% silvers, (5) 1987 NIFC'S, a clad proof, and a couple proof commemoratives. Outstanding group! Quote: Yesterday I got another 2005 NIFC, seems to be a lot of NIFC coins out in circulation. Very nice!

Great finds everyone. Love seeing all that beautiful silver. I am on a pause again. Moving to Chino Valley AZ. Once I get settled in, I will try to start searching again. I will have to find me a few banks willing to work with me. We will see what happens. Meanwhile I will be keeping an eye on this feed to keep me motivated. Good luck everyone.

Went half hunting on my lunch break last week. One bank had $210.00 in CWR, the teller said that they came from another collector. I took them anyway - you never know! Besides, my dump banks don't blink an eye when you show up with two coffee cans of halves, so no downside. Those produced 2 40%, and quite a few from the early '70s that were UNC or nearly so. Someone must have saved them - I cherrypicked the best 10 or 15 and dumped the rest. Then I stopped at another bank that had $5 in loose halves, and that gave me another 40%! Not a bad few hours!

Nice finds, all! I recently moved from a city to the country, so my CRH-ing opportunity is rare...That said I will not give up the hunt :)
These days I rely on one of my daughter's who works as a bank teller to find silver coins while she is working. I buy them from her because, as you may guess, teller wages are low.
GL to all!

Is that a 1949? That's a better date Franklin. Not as scarce as the 1955, but either way, that's a really nice find.
