Quote: Man was I surprised to find my first 40% silver Kennedy, then another and then 3 more. A 1966, (3) 1967, and a 1968. A trip well worth it. Outstanding!

My goodness, 2 million reads on this forum. No wonder I cannot find much silver anymore!
I just had a single 40% silver piece out of $5 in halves loose from a bank- pretty decent odds!
I really have not had much time to roll search lately and most bank branches do not have loose or customer-rolled halves anymore.

It would be if it were in the group shown above, but it is not.

Great finds, cabowabo...
As for me, I think 1970 halves are cool... never have found one lol.
CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!

My daughter, who works as a teller, had a customer bring in 2, 40%-ers the other day.
Then more recently, she spied a silver ender on a roll in a newly-opened box in the vault, unfortunately, this was at the same time 2 customers were buying from the newly-opened box. She was able to buy $110 worth of the rolls from the box and she found 6, 40%ers. I bet the two customers had a few finds, too...Good box!

I've had a ton of skunk boxes the past months but did have a couple good ones that yielded a little bit of everything, one Ben, a few 40% silvers, (5) 1987 NIFC'S, a clad proof, and a couple proof commemoratives.
