Just returned from the Bank to get my nickels and pennies. I asked the teller for halves. and she said she has $8.00 worth in her till and asked the other teller and she had $40.00. When she lifted them out of the tray I could hear that distinctive cling and thought I could see the absence of copper on the edges. I got all my coins, but I just couldn't wait and opened the bag with 16 loose shiny halves. I was so lucky, I found 7 1964 Phillies and 1965,1967, and 1969. When I got home, I spilled one of the rolls opened and found more 1964's and a 1967. The total was 13 1964, most in great condition and will be certain upgrades. Also 6 40% silver. Nice Haul. I know it is not a lot, but I feel rich like I found treasure. I sure like the sound of the silver.

19 silvers out of 96 coins is amazing! If that average kept up, that would be close to 200 silvers in a box. You scored big time.

Well on the embarrassing note, I bought my next group of coins Pennies and nickels from the bank yesterday, and I needed something out of my car's console. When I looked inside, I saw a sealed B&A envelope. I do not remember putting the envelope there, so I do not know how long it has been there from a coin roll hunt. When I opened it, I felt a little embarrassed. How could I forgotten to look inside this withdrawal envelope . Anyway, my embarrassment gave way to relief and joy when I found 6 more 1964 kennedy's and a 1965, 1967 and 1965 40% silver dollars and there was 7 other kennedy's and two quarters. I imagine the 2 quarters were change included and sealed by the teller. I am happy I just took the time to search through the junk-filled console, but I still do not remember picking these up at the bank. I'm using my age as an excuse. I wonder if any of you have had similar experiences forgetting where you put your coins.
